THE CARRY ON SEEMS TOO BIG. IS THIS WITHIN AIRLINE STANDARDS?
If it looks big, it is! It's been designed to maximise how much you can bring onto a plane with you. The Carry On is designed perfectly for all Australian and International airline standards.
Airlines have hard linear dimension rules (all sides must add up to less than 115cm) but the suggested dimensions (e.g. Width: 50cm x Height: 40cm x Depth: 25cm) are often guidelines. As long as all sides add up to 115cm, the case is clear to fly.
The July Carry On is 115 linear cms, and fits perfectly for all airlines. Our team and customers have flown with almost every major domestic and international carrier with the July Carry On and tested them for sizing across all.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CLASSIC AND ESSENTIALS?
Our signature Carry On Classic is feature-rich and designed for the travel that requires the extra protection of their contents and the added convenience of an inbuilt powerbank. while the Carry On Essentials foregoes the aluminum bumpers and powerbank for travellers that aim to save a little more weight when travelling.
Both suitcases retain our signature multi-stop handle, compression pad system, Silent Move wheels and inbuilt laundry bag.
WILL THE BUMPERS SCRATCH?
The aluminium bumpers are there to protect the polycarbonate corners from hard bumps and dents with rough treatment. Unlike the polycarbonate, they do scratch and wear over time.
Every scratch is just part of your travel story with your July case. Like a good patina on your leather goods, the wear on the bumpers is an indication of a life well travelled.
WHAT IS THE CASE MADE FROM?
All of our hard shell luggage is made from 100% aerospace-grade German polycarbonate.
DO ALL OF YOUR CASES COME WITH THE POWER BANK?
No, the ejectable Power Bank only comes with our Carry On Classic, Carry On Pro and Carry On Trunk.
HOW DO I EJECT THE POWER BANK?
Extend the Carry On handle to an appropriate height where you’re able to access the Power Bank housing unit. Flip the notch to open from the housing unit and push down on the Power Bank to eject.
It’s vital that you eject the Powerbank in the event that your Carry On luggage needs to be checked in. To eject the Power Bank, simply extend the handle to an appropriate height where you’re able to access the housing unit. Flip the notch to open the hatch and push down on the Powerbank to eject it.
Please keep in mind that if left inside during check-in, airlines reserve the right to confiscate the Power Bank due to safety regulations, and this will not be covered by the lifetime warranty. Please see our warranty section warranty section for more information. If a replacement is needed, please follow this link to purchase a Power Bank
I LOST MY POWERBANK, CAN I PURCHASE ANOTHER?
