CAN I GET THE DAYBREAK BAGS PERSONALISED?

No. While the Carry All bags can be custom-embroidered on the pass-through band, the Daybreak bag range does not feature the pass-through back band for it to be personalised.

HOW DO I CLEAN THE DAYBREAK BAGS?

Just like our Carry All bags, most scuffs can be removed with a bit of water and a towel, or a wet wipe, by lightly tapping and massaging the affected area. Stubborn marks may require a dry clean. If you think you’ll need extra protection on your journey you can always scotchgard them too.

We recommend using a leather cleaner when cleaning the handle and zips, giving them a wipe with a soft cloth first, followed by applying a small amount of leather cleaner wiping in a circular motion to remove dirt and natural oils. Remove any excess cleaner with a dry cloth and then allow it to set.

HOW WELL WILL THE BAGS AGE?

The Daybreak bag range was designed to age well with continued wear. Our French Navy and Taupe colourways are paired with natural vachetta top-grain leather, which forms a patina and will darken in colour over time. This gives the bags character and personality, collecting memories of your escapes and adventures past.

HOW DOES LEATHER PATINA DEVELOP?

Leather Patina does not form on all types of leather. Only the highest grades such as top-grain leather will develop rich character over time. Patina being a visible sign of quality.

The simplest way for patina to develop is through use — handling the leather daily is the easiest way to make your mark on it.

Scratches and scuffs also make up a huge part of the process. Over time these will fade, but make up the overall look, feel and texture of well-worn leather goods.

A number of factors contribute to how patina develops overtime:

  • Oils on your hands.
  • Dust.
  • Moisture in the air.
  • Sunlight.
  • Scratches and scuffs

Leather patina doesn’t have a destination or an end — it’s an experience that continues to evolve with you and how you use your bag.
