Multi-Stop Handle ReplacementUpdated 3 months ago


Cause

Rough handling by airline staff, overpacking, dropping, etc.

Solution

To remove the faulty handle

1. Unzip the lining of the case to access the handle mechanism

2. Using a screwdriver (Phillips head of Classic or Light Range, Torx head if Trunk Range), undo the top 4 top screws and remove the cage at the top of the handle

3. Undo the 2 bottom screws and slide the handle out from the top of the case

To replace the handle

1. From the top of the suitcase, slide the new handle through the gaps. Ensure that everything lines up.

2. Lining up the handle at the bottom of the case, secure the 2 bottom screws

3. Placing the cage over the handle alcove, secure the 4 top screws


Phrasing

  • This issue is easily repairable and takes no longer than 10-15 minutes to do!
  • Replacing the Multi-Stop handle is simple, but we always recommend an extra pair of hands if possible!
  • It's possible that the contents of the case may be impacting the mechanism. it may be worth trying to re-arrange the contents to se if this remedies the issue.
