Macros are pre-written responses that allow Agents to respond to tickets in a swift and timely manner. They are created based on consistent patterns identified, in order to efficiently respond to tickets without having repeatedly enter the same information. Macros can also be automated via Rules, to fulfil a variety of functions such as responding, adding tags, setting statuses, and allocating to other users.


To begin using the macro, type in the name of the macro in the search field.


Alternatively, Gorgias will suggest recommend macros at the bottom. 


Hot tip: Press Shift + Tab, to bring up the list of Macros if you are mid typing the response.
